Duran Duran
Duran Duran return on September 18th with Paper Gods, their first new album in five years. In anticipation, the band has premiered the first single “Pressure Off”, which features Janelle Monáe and Nile Rodgers. Listen below.
According to a press release, Paper Gods aims to “capture the duality and sense of conflict at the heart of Duran Duran’s music.” Bassist John Taylor elaborated, saying, “It really goes back to that strange early Duran mix: the hard-edged pop, coexisting with this dark, weird, experimental side.”
