Kings of Leon say that they are making it their New Year’s resolution to finish recording a new album in 2016. The follow-up to 2013’s Mechanical Bull is already in the works, drummer Nathan Followill said in a recent interview.
Over the summer, Nathan told Sirius XM’s Alt Nation that the band’s goal was to “get the album written by the end of the year.”
He also talked about one possible recording space in Nashville.
“It was built in 1841 and the guy that lived there was actually Dolly Parton’s engineer. It’s a really rad place and I think we can do something cool with it. And you know if we go in there and it sounds like s**t, we can just go across the street.”
